This is a library of UX methods that I like to use.

User interviews
Through qualitative and quantitative research we can create an understanding of the ones we design for. By doing user reserach we can identify behaviors, scenarios, needs, driving forces.
Personas
By analyzing the collected data we can create representative users in the form of personas. Personas represents the needs, driving forces and goals of the various target groups. The method is used to keep focus on the target group, prioritize functionality and to discuss pros and cons of different solutions.
User Journeys
A user journey is a mapping of a user's interaction with a product, brand or organization. From the first contact to a long-lasting relationship. The method helps us understand behaviors by visualizing the user's goals, needs and driving forces.
Workshops
Workshops are a great tool to to collaborate in a design team, with clients, to involve other stakeholders and users. Workshops provide a way to come up with great ideas for a project whether running them at the initial stage of a project or trying to solve a particular design challenge.
Design Studio
A design studio combines divergent and convergent thinking: it allows us to explore a wide set of ideas and also create a shared vision to move forward within a short amount of time. It incorporates brainstorming, critique, and prioritization into one condensed session.
Impact Mapping
By defining purpose, target groups and use targets, we can build the functions and use the technology needed for the effect to occur. The idea is to make the whole line of reasoning visible, from the effects we want to achieve to how we actually meet the needs. In this way, we get an overview of what we do and what we should do to support the goals we have defined together.
Prototyping
A prototype is an interactive mockup where interactions and flows can be tested by users. By creating a prototype we can test a concept or process at a early stage. A prototype is generally used to evaluate a new design with stakeholders and users.
User test
User testing aims to evaluate the solution proposals with users. User testing is a great way to discover problems with your website or app. And to increase empathy with your users.
